I took these photographs at North Sydney on New Years eve 2010. We waited by the harbour with thousands of other people for the fireworks. As we waited the sun gradually set, with all the beautiful colours that inspired me to write the poem Threnody which Geoff transformed into a dramatic song. These Sydney Harbour at night photos with the added interest of fireworks on new years eve were perfect for the background to the video I made for Threnody.
